About

What is an adult foster home?

An adult foster home is licensed residential care delivered in an ordinary house rather than an institution. A small group of residents live together, caregivers are on site around the clock, and daily life looks like life at home: shared meals, a living room and a yard.

Few residents, close attention

Because we care for only a handful of people, caregivers know each resident's routine, preferences, and health needs personally.

Someone here at all hours

Care is continuous, not scheduled in visits. There is always a caregiver in the home, including overnight.

A house, not a facility

No long corridors or nursing stations. Residents have their own room in a quiet residential neighborhood, with a kitchen and living room they actually use.

Care we provide

Support with the everyday things

Care is built around each resident individually. These are the areas we support. The exact plan is agreed before move-in with the resident and their family, their case manager and social worker, and the provider.

24-hour supervision

A caregiver present in the home day and night, including overnight checks.

Personal care

Respectful help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Medication management

Medications stored securely, given on schedule, and documented.

Meals & nutrition

Three home-cooked meals and snacks daily, adapted to dietary needs.

Mobility assistance

Help moving safely around the home, with transfers and walking support.

Housekeeping & laundry

Rooms, bedding, and personal laundry kept clean as part of daily routine.

Companionship

Given with empathy and integrity: conversation, shared activities, and time outdoors, not just supervision.

Appointments & transportation

Help arranging and keeping track of medical appointments and visits, with transportation provided.

Our approach

How we want this home to feel

01

Dignity first

Care is given in a way that protects privacy and independence. We help with what is needed and step back from what is not.

02

Familiar rhythms

Residents keep their own routines: when they wake, what they eat, how they spend the day. The home adapts to them.

03

Families stay close

Visits are welcome and communication is direct. You will always know who is caring for your family member.
